The Role

The role of the Broker Distribution Planning & Effectiveness Manager is to support the Head of Broker Partnerships to deliver on key broker projects and to develop strategic insights leading to better customer outcomes for the broker channel. This role will also translate data into key business insights to help form initiatives to drive an increase in home lending and market share. This is a key role to drive the Broker partnerships team and will report directly into the Head of Broker Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the broker channel as an SME on key business projects with a significant focus on the enhanced broker portal
  • Engage with senior stakeholders within thee broker channel and consumer banking leadership team to represent the broker partnerships business with key project support
  • Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives to embed into the business and effectively transition for BAU execution
  • Develop the medium-term plans for the broker channel and lead the Broker Value Proposition work including broker segmentation models
  • Support the Head of Broker Partnerships to develop and design key initiatives to improve customer and broker outcomes
  • Engage with industry leaders on broker industry reforms and regulation
  • Provide product owner support to the Home Buying transformation program
  • Translate data into key business insights to help create initiatives to drive an increase in market share and win in home lending

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent (Mandatory)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Business or equivalent (Desired)
  • Solid in depth knowledge and understanding of the Banking or Financial Services Industry
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Proven experience in the mortgage broker industry
  • Experience working with Broker platforms/portals
  • Proven experience in leveraging data insights to drive informed business decisions
  • Experience in strategy or channel management roles
