About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Analyst with deep experience in the insurance industry—particularly in claims—to support delivery across enterprise platforms. You’ll work with claims and business teams to gather requirements, map processes, and deliver solutions that improve customer and operational outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for consumer insurance related initiatives with a focus on claims processes
- Analyse current and future state claims processes, identifying opportunities for simplification and automation
- Create user stories and business documentation to support agile delivery across multiple platforms
- Facilitate workshops and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and alignment
- Act as a liaison between business teams and claims stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of delivery goals
- Participate in agile rhythms including stand-ups, planning sessions, and showcases
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in the insurance industry, with a strong focus on claims (Claims Centre/Guidewire Knowledge preferred)
- Business analysis capabilities including requirements gathering, process documentation, and business process mapping
- Ability to work across multiple platforms and with engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and familiarity with Agile, Lean and waterfall methodologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Knowledge of frameworks such as BABOK, Lean Six Sigma, and Agile practices
