About the role

As Wealth Engagement Manager and reporting the Senior Manager Wealth Distribution your focus is to actively engage with our front-line teams and branches predominantly located in either Queensland or New South Wales to ensure staff have the awareness, technical knowledge and training required to enable holistic customer conversations in relation to wealth creation and to refer customers to the wealth concierge team.  

You’ll get to:

  • Proactively deliver structured training and technical support to staff
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives to acquire new customers as well as broaden the services to existing customers
  • Support the continuous review and enhancement of the Wealth strategy ensuring changing customer needs and behaviours are identified and accommodated 
  • Proactively motivate, influence and support the activities for frontline teams to drive results and meet business objectives 
  • Work closely with the Wealth Engagement Management team, the Insurance & Wealth Management Distribution team, State and Regional Managers, Branch Staff and the broader consumer division

This is a Permanent, Full-Time position located in either Queensland or New South Wales (dependant on the successful applicant) 
Ideally based at one of our corporate offices or business centres. There will be a requirement to travel to regional branches so you will need a reliable car and a current driver’s licence. 

 

About you

To be successful you will have:

  • Strong working knowledge and interest in products, services and solutions across Wealth and Consumer Banking 
  • Demonstrated capabilities across coaching, training, mentoring and influencing team members
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding, interest and passion for wealth creation products including managed fund investment solutions, financial planning and insurance 
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and strategic disposition with a focus on driving results, exceptional customer outcomes and continuous improvement
  • Tertiary qualification in business related field and RG 146 accreditation ideal but not essential
