The Role
CUB is currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate and influencing Corporate Affairs Associate Director (Internal Communications and Smart Drinking) to join our team based in Melbourne. Reporting directly to the VP Corporate Affairs, you will be responsible for leading, driving and implementing the internal communications strategy and Smart Drinking strategy for Australia & New Zealand.

Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Lead all internal communications, ensuring it is an important value-adding strategic function which drives our culture, employee engagement and corporate reputation
  • Develop and implement ongoing communication to colleagues about our key strategic initiatives and commercial results
  • Work cross functionally to develop a strategy aligned to our employer brand and engagement priorities
  • Supervise and lead the work of the Internal Communications Coordinator
  • Drive our Smart Drinking agenda, including by working  with our global team and other stakeholders

Success in this role looks like maintaining a high standard of internal communications that improves the employee experience, a culture of ambassadorship, and positioning CUB as a leader in the Smart Drinking space.

About you

You are ambitious, curious and seeking a rewarding and impactful career that continuously challenge you. From your qualification in Communications (or similar) and your experience working in a similar role, you will bring best-in-class writing and editing skills with high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. You have the ability to work with and influence internal stakeholders (including other senior leaders) to develop, co-ordinate and execute our internal communications agenda. You have strong business acumen and a thirst to learn and understand the priorities of the business. You are a team player, a network builder and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
