The Role

As Social Listening Specialist, you will be the go-to for our marketing team on social listening trends and how this relates to past, planned and future brand campaigns and activity.  With a key focus on brands, you will leverage a variety of social tools and research to generate reports and provide insights back to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track voice of the consumer and sentiment to provide insights on trends that relate directly and indirectly to our brands;
  • Create and automate reporting for Cubhouse and Brand teams, managing the monthly reporting process to deliver channel and campaign performance updates;
  • Use social tools to monitor campaign performance and make recommendations on how content should be optimised if necessary;
  • Maintain social listening platforms;
  • Understand opportunities and best practice on social listening;
  • Work closely with the Consumer Relations and Community Management Team to ensure any key mentions, issues or opportunities are captured and escalated to brands teams;
  • Liaise with partners to ensure best in class execution i.e. Facebook, Google;
  • Build positive and collaborative relationships with key external partners


About You

  • Relevant industry experience (agency, client or publisher side);
  • Degree qualified in Commercial Business or Marketing (preferred);
  • Strong understanding of brands and a broader appreciation for Marketing;
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and automation of reporting, with proven ability to deliver ad-hoc reporting under tight deadlines and make recommendations;
  • Experience developing and maintaining social listening tools (e.g. Crimson Hexagon and Social Studio) and owned content performance tracking (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager);
  • Strong stakeholder influencing and engagement skills, with the ability to develop relationships quickly;
  • A thought-leader within the digital space – able to identify industry shifts and educate internally to bring internal practice in line with best practice
