The Role
In accordance with established policies, guidelines, systems and processes, the Executive Officer ensures the efficient handling and flow of information and correspondence by providing high-level administrative and clerical support for, and general oversight of, Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) administrative activities.
Duties:
- Perform a range of high-level executive and administrative duties to support the preparation of correspondence, reports and other business documents.
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision for IOC administrative staff, including ensuring resources are efficiently and effectively utilised, developing and delivering training to all IOC administrative staff and promoting continuous service improvement initiatives and opportunities for ongoing education for all levels of staff.
- Monitor the performance of team members, ensuring service delivery standards, objectives and strategies are understood, implemented, and maintained.
- In consultation with the Nursing Director - Integrated Operations Centre, review current business processes, inclusive of participating in policy development and quality control processes regarding administration services and lead the implementation of collaborative improvement plans to meet or enhance service delivery and operational requirements.
- Set up and maintain databases, including extracting, compiling, and verifying statistics and generating reports and other information relating to the overall business-related performance of the IOC.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term full time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 3 February 2025 until 5 November 2025.

Classification:
Salary $79,529 - $91,517 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
