Fixed term full time, day worker (with on call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 16 December 2024 until 20 April 2025.

Specialist Medical Practitioners
Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $210,000 - $310,349 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $291,472 -$301,349 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
- Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

Holds specialist registration; or
-
Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway; or
-
Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality.

Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
