This is a part time (.6) fixed term opportunity for 8 months. Reporting to Manager Strategic Relationships, this is a pivotal role within the Melbourne Water Customer Community and External Affairs portfolio. As the Strategic Relationships & Engagement Advisor you will be responsible for developing, influencing and leading proactive strategic communications and engagement initiatives, putting Melbourne’s customers and diverse community at the heart of our decision making and the delivery of our services.

Reporting to Manager Operations this is a pivotal role within Corporate Services.  As the Operations Lead you will be responsible for implementing and governing service management practices, with the support of third-party managed service providers, professional service providers and other teams within the business. As the Principal Construction Engineer, reporting to the DSS Quality Assurance Regional Manager, you will be a Registered Engineer and construction expert, approving technical engineering decisions being proposed by Construction Engineers in the team.

The role ensures that plans take a long-term and integrated catchment perspective that can be translated into the business to enable effective and efficient delivery of agreed service outcomes and drive performance. The role will drive the collaborative development of goals, consideration of possible futures, identification of threats and high-level management activities, assessment of feasibility and costs, prioritisation, and preparation of robust recommendations.

This is a new role within the People Services team. It’s ideal for an experienced HR Business Partner who is looking for an opportunity to step away from generalist support, to focus on Organisational Design and People Centred Change. The role will partner with the Manager Organisational Architecture, Executives and Senior Leaders to scope, develop and deliver all major Melbourne Water Organisational Design initiatives.

As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for project managing the design, investigations or reviews of concept drainage masterplans known as Development Services Schemes (DSS). This will include creating DSS business cases to progress drainage capital projects.
