In line with our future growth, we are looking for Expression of Interest from skilled Indonesian national Supervisor Lifting has arisen to join our Plant Operation team. Residentially based in Balikpapan Services Facilities.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Inspect all Lifting Equipment, Lifting Gears, Support Tools and Attachment
  • Ensure all system crane still working and comply with standard ASME B30; ANZ, SNI
  • Manage and provide all cranes commissioning schedule as well as the certification through client and Indonesian manpower
  • Ensure that all cranes/lifting equipment certification, inspections are documented and maintained properly
  • Ensure load indicator crane still accurate and comply with standard BS7161
  • Ensure certification/testing, inspection and identification/marking are conducted properly as per standard/code adopted
  • Manage lifting equipment has regular inspections and initiate system to control lifting device from procure to dispose
  • Manage lifting equipment is properly inspected prior to use
  • Decide the correct method of lifting is employed using a load plan and other available tools / information
  • Ensure inspection of lifting appliance, Lifting equipment and Lifting gear is comply with the standard/code
  • Ensure colour coding procedure by self, client and subcontractor already correct
  • Ensure inspection of lifting appliance, Lifting equipment and Lifting gear is conducted properly for inservice, damage : cracking, corossion, wear, broken, heat damage
  • Ensure all support Tools after a substantial repair or alteration is carried out must be undergo examination and tests such as visual inspection, NDT inspection, and test properly
  • Planning and arranging inspections within lifting equipment. Review and implement the relevant standard on inspection job
  • Generating computer reports on the results of the inspections and submitting them to the clients/sites
  • Liaising with clients and advising them on current legislation and regulations
  • Controlling personnel, equipment and inspection requirements for clients

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Engineering related
  • Technical High School, Mechanical trade Specialist 
  • Minimum 2 years as Inspector Advisor or Similar Qualification 
  • Experience with Non-Destructive Analysis Test
  • Understanding of Lifting Equipment and Gears
  • Extensive Inspection of Lifting Equipment and Gears
  • Inspection base on standard regulations
  • People handling skills and diagnostic skills in all aspects of mechanical repairs
