The Opportunity 

As Thiess’ newest Digital Analyst, you will support business and process analysis activities across a range of technology projects.  You have a passion for working with end users to effectively understand problems, elicit core requirements and look for opportunities to optimise processes.  

You have a strong track record and can draw upon your significant experience across a diverse range of technology projects to ensure requirements are understood and project deliverables aligned. You are comfortable operating as a bridge between the project team, technical resources and a diverse range of project stakeholders.

About The Role 

We seek an individual with demonstrated experience conducting business analysis, planning, process modelling and requirements gathering activities. As the Digital Analyst, you will be a dependable point of inquiry across the team to facilitate workshops, conduct stakeholder interviews, create user stories and requirements specifications.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop and manage requirements matrix
  • Complete benefits review plans (based on PRINCE2)
  • Develop use cases in preparation for application development
  • Complete return on investment analysis for business systems projects
  • Adhere to Thiess PMO processes and company policies and standards 

About You  

You will have completed a tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business or related discipline, have business analysis qualifications along with business process modelling and notation training. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Visio and PowerPoint), process automation, process mapping, design and modelling and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

You have a strong analytical mindset, proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments. You have led workshops and stand-ups to be able to facilitate a team of people and can lead by example. You have practical stakeholder management skills and are solution focused.
