STEP UP AND LEAD WITH SAFETY
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Health, Safety, and Training Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role, offering the opportunity to influence and lead across one of our multiple projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Health, Safety, and Training Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and training excellence across our operations.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of HSET (Health, Safety, Environment, and Training) services across projects.
- Ensuring compliance with systems, practices, and standards.
- Conducting incident reviews and driving continuous improvement.
- Building and leading a strong HSET team that delivers on key objectives.
- Promoting a culture of safety across all levels of the operation.
- Providing solutions to technical, resourcing, and logistical challenges.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for safety, risk management, and continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a senior role, ideally within open-pit mining operations.
- Strong understanding of workplace risk, QLD OHS legislation, and mine regulations.
- Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV WH&S.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategy, influence change, and build high-performing teams.
You’ll be hands-on, collaborative, and focused on delivering results through practical solutions.
