About the role
We are offering a rare opportunity to join our team as a Technical Services Superintendent based on site at our Iron Bridge operations located 145km away from Port Hedland, and is offered on a 4:3 roster from Perth.
The Technical Services Superintendent will lead our site based technical team in delivering high-quality support to our mining operations. This role is central to developing and executing strategies that align with production objectives while maintaining technical standards and compliance.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the technical services team, including engineers and other support personnel.
- Develop and implement technical strategies and plans to support production and operational goals.
- Support the client in the preparation and execution of mine/production plans (short and medium term).
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics and provide technical guidance to resolve issues and optimise processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Provide technical reporting and analysis to senior management.

About You
- A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within the mining industry.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, planning, and development.
- Strong capabilities in at least one mine scheduling package (e.g. Alastri or Spry) and CAD design package (e.g. Deswik or Vulcan)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
