The Opportunity

  • The focus of this role will be to provide strategic and functional expertise in the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle HCM across all business required modules to support Thiess’ global HR operations and deliver value back to our People.
  • This role ensures that Oracle HCM is configured and used effectively to meet business needs, enable global consistency, comply with local legislative requirements, and deliver accurate workforce insights.
  • Reporting to the Lead HR Systems, Data and Business Intelligence, this role will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to:
  • Guide the business on best-practice usage of Oracle HCM functionality across modules.
  • Lead and support global implementations, rollouts, and expansions into new regions.
  • Drive process harmonisation and standardisation across countries while addressing local compliance.
  • Provide expertise on integrations, data integrity, and reporting to enable strategic workforce decisions.
  • Build HR capability and adoption through stakeholder engagement, training, and change management.
  • This role exists to bridge HR Processes and technology, ensuring that Oracle HCM is a scalable, compliant and value-adding global platform. You will participate in the development of business cases that recommend investment.
  • You will assist in assessing the return on investment for initiatives and ensure that work is completed on time, fit for purpose, according to budget, meets stakeholder requirements, and is of a high standard.
  • You will support the integration of continuous improvement into planning and budgeting processes and assist with reporting requirements. 

 

About The Role

  • Implement new HR systems that deliver value back to the business. This includes the effective transitioning of people, processes and alignment with the technology/software.
  • Measurement of implementation maturity against the implementation maturity matrix
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify, understand and evaluate high impact changes required across the organization.
  • Effectively communicate and explore opportunities for change with business leaders.
  • Establish strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present change documentation, using a structured change management approach to design for adoption and minimize disruption.
  • Ensure appropriate communication and training activities are delivered to support the business.
  • Drive change through effective systems implementation
