Jellinbah Plains is an open-cut coal project located 50km north east of Blackwater in Central Queensland.
About the role
As our next Mobile Plant Equipment Operator reporting to the Mining Supervisor you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
This role is a permanent position that will see you working 12 hour day shifts and 10.5 hour night shifts on a 7/7 Roster (Tuesday – Monday); full camp facilities are available and bus transportation is provided between camp and site.
In this role, your responsibilities will include operation of heavy mobile plant equipment and complying with site policies and procedures to ensure effective use of equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Successful candidates should ideally have demonstrated and credible experience operating Rear dump trucks, Dozers, Graders and/or Excavators.
Role Requirements as a Mobile Plant Equipment Operator at Jellinbah Plains:
- You must have proven skill and experience working as a production operator in an operational coal mine;
- A commitment to a positive safety culture;
- Relevant coal mining certifications (e.g. Standard 11);
- A current Section 4 / Coal Board Medical would be desirable; and
- Current Driver's Licence.
