About the role

As the Quality Assurance Coordinator at Thiess, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will provide assistance and assure the Thiess Governance System (TGS) is mobilised, maintained, and demobilised in accordance with Thiess requirements.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Coordinating process-related improvement activities in Thiess Governance System (TGS) and Project Governance System (PGS) environments including system governance, reporting and analysis.
  • Training of process leads and general users across Thiess sites
  • Creation and maintenance of project management plans
  • Coordination of audit activities including scheduling, planning, auditing and support relating to first, second and third-party audits
  • Nonconformance coordination, including the management of action schedules, improvement opportunities arising from audit, preventive and corrective action design and assistance for process leads
  • Completing TGS administration activities, including document approval workflow administration and document control in the SharePoint 2013 TGS environment.
  • Coordination between Australian operations, business unit management and corporate quality management.

Travel to Thiess’s operational sites is required as part of this role.

About you

  • Qualifications in auditing (Highly desirable)
  • Minimum of three years’ quality management and system experience
  • Experience in Microsoft’s SharePoint ecosystem and Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge in MS Power Bi is desirable
