About the role

The Maintenance Planner on site a Mt Arthur South will work towards delivering a high quality maintenance plan. In the role, you will be responsible for providing long and short term maintenance planning and scheduling capability in support of project maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for the management of equipment maintenance systems to ensure the reliable and productive operation of heavy equipment. 

In this role, you will:

  • Effectively plan machine long term maintenance to ensure maximum availability and reliability
  • Monitor site machine health systems
  • Monitor and maintain machine oil samples
  • Develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Rostering of labour

About you

To be considered for this role you are required to have: 

  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications  
  • Two years' experience in a maintenance planning role  
  • Five years maintenance experience  
  • Two years' experience in a supervisory role will be highly regarded  
  • Experience in plant management and document control systems is desirable  
  • Knowledge of maintenance and planning systems  
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills  
  • Advanced MS Project skills  
  • Experience in use of maintenance tools i.e. JDE
