Associate Director, Performance & Strategy

  • Working closely with the PB Business Units and PB Strategy & Insights to develop the long-term direction and identify areas of opportunity for growth and improvement
  • Supporting development of business cases for strategic initiatives aligned to business strategy and leading the annual investment planning cycle
  • Monitor key measures of success relating to both the strategic investments and broader business operations

In this role, you will:

  • Be supporting the Head of Performance and Executive of PB Strategy, Performance & Cust. Advocacy on any work required
  • Support in modelling the shape of PB commercially and strategically working with Finance partners and business stakeholders
  • Own the inputs and development of the PB Dashboard; Gleaning insights to inform actions and changes to the strategy and or metrics; Maintaining a backlog of work to continually improve and enhance the dashboard, working with business stakeholders and D&A team. 
  • Act as business partner to PB Domains and support the review and prioritisation of investments that offer the highest commercial returns and outcomes to customer and colleagues. 
  • Review, consolidate and report on the PB investment portfolio and progress of strategic initiatives. 
  • Track and report commercial, customer and colleague outcomes delivered by initiatives. 
  • Act as a key contact for any PB portfolio and investment planning related activities.
     

What you’ll bring  

  • 5+ years of working in a similar role, in areas such as portfolio management, corporate finance/ investment planning, strategy and reporting.
  • A background in strategy, business case development & financial modelling. 
  • Experience in coordinating investment planning across business unit and cross functionally. 
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio governance principles and frameworks, ensuring portfolio priorities aligns to strategy. 
  • Experience in developing performance reporting to assess portfolio performance / ROI for strategic initiatives. 
  • Advanced Microsoft skills for Executive level presentation. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders and support the coordination of annual investment planning, funding submissions and monitoring activities.
