Consultant, Digital Records Management

  • 12 month fixed term opportunity in the Digital Records Data & Analytics team!
  • Take ownership for maintaining and improving the NAB records management framework including jurisdiction retention policies, controls, and processes.
  • Oversee the annual attestation process with all Asset owners across the Enterprise.

In the role of Consultant Digital Records, in the Data & Analytics team that’s doubling down on customer obsession

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Support NAB’s records management program to ensure appropriate application of NABs record retention policies, and ensure GIRP alignment
  • Ability to navigate occasionally conflicting regional regulatory obligations and advise the business accordingly
  • Actively support data stewards and business stakeholders with records retention and destruction enquiries. Includes working with the business in assessing existing management practices, identifying improvement areas, and implementing solutions to meet business needs. Example include implementing records management policies, manage records persisted in digital applications)
  • Play an integral role in aligning records management governance with privacy and security obligations and activities, to ensure all aspects of information management and security are considered
  • Oversee the annual attestation process with all Asset owners in the Enterprise.
  • Improve periodic compliance reporting for Records Retention Schedules.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Proven experience in information and/or records management governance/policy
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting legislation and regulation to maintain retention policies and standards, and advise on retention schedules
  • Proven ability implementing frameworks, policies, processes, tools, and controls to improve records governance, reduce risk, and improve efficiency as to how records are retained and disposed
  • Significant experience with business classification schemas and record retention policies
  • Proven experience consulting and advising on records and information management standards, processes, and system deployment strategies.  Proven evidence of continuous improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the business, as well as risk and compliance functions to ensure successful implementation of policies and change
