Senior Consultant, Strategic Execution

An opportunity for a Senior Consultant to design and deliver large scale strategic programmes of work that directly align to NAB’s Corporate & Institutional Banking strategy across the division.

In the role of Senior Consultant, you will join the Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB) team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple and winning together.
 
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to
• Prepare the design of strategic initiatives that are fundamental to C&IB’s strategic ambitions.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to structure and ensure the successful execution and management of strategic programs within the C&IB division.
• Collaborate with Group, Divisional and Business teams to ensure Enterprise lens / alignment on outputs.
• Prepare content for the leadership team and Executive level working groups to ensure insights and effective workings within governance structures.
• Build a strong network of relationships within C&IB and NAB that enables you to have a handle on opportunities/issues that don’t show up on paper and solve for them.

• Ability to draw out underlying issues and align multiple stakeholders towards outcomes or problem solve business challenges.
• Highly analytical and fact-driven with clarity of thought, ability to deliver insights and creatively solve complex problems.
• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting scenarios and distil ‘what’, ‘so what’, and ‘now what’.
• Can apply sound logic to break down problems and recommend solutions.
• Breadth years of professional experience in consulting or in-house strategy roles in banking.
• Ability to understand and interpret program challenges into actionable next steps.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and present key insights to a broad audience.
