Associate Commercial Broker - Docklands - Fixed Term Contract until 1st June 2026

In the role of Associate Commercial Broker, you will join the Small Business Banking team that’s doubling down on customer obsession/moving with speed/keeping it simple/owning it/winning together

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to: 

  • Engage in quality conversations with brokers and customers which will allow you to promote the bank’s products and services, as well as identify the needs of the customer and deliver suitable solutions
  • Create and enhance broker loyalty through delivery of exceptional services and customer solutions
  • Provide brokers with advice, guidance and service in order to match customer needs through our suite of products
  • Build upon your onboarding experience by identifying opportunities for quality referrals and leads to specialist departments to ensure our customers are always benefiting from the best of NAB
  • Proactively manage and enhance the retention of existing broker relationships
  • Leverage from your proven ability to build and nurture business relationships, we’re keen to tap into your passion for delivering strong NPS results and your broad networks across the enterprise and within industry 

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Commercial acumen and experience in business lending (may include term/mortgage loan or asset-based finance)
  • Superb time management and feels at ease delivering to high demand
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically objection handling and expectation management
  • Experience in banking (business or consumer) - minimum 1-2 years preferred.
  • Experience in an inbound phone-based environment viewed favourably
