Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Develop and lead the design and execution of an integrated communications strategy for NAB’s C&IB division.
- Advise and execute on communications activities that engage colleagues and external stakeholders in Corporate Finance, Markets, Economics, Operations, International branches, Client Coverage, and Trade Transaction Banking.
- Provide strategic communications advice to the Group Executive C&IB and the C&IB Leadership Team on activities including corporate projects, issues management and reputational risks.
- Develop and drive a proactive external agenda to best position C&IB with customers through external narratives, speeches and social media.
- Partner with C&IB Marketing to identify and deliver key events, customer engagements and thought leadership campaigns.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and stakeholders including Marketing, P&C, Investor Relations, Regulatory Affairs and change and operational teams to ensure consistent alignment of internal and external communications activity .
- Provide leadership and support the development of team members.

- Ability to deliver a clear and compelling story-telling narrative about C&IB’s market leadership and customer obsession, including close collaboration with Marketing on shared opportunities and events.
- Be able to execute integrated communications campaigns and activity that positively contributes to the engagement of colleagues and C&IB’s reputation.
- Successfully manage risk management, including issues identification, minimisation and management outcomes that protects NAB’s reputation.
- Deliver value to stakeholders who appreciate the candidate’s expertise and advice in influencing business decisions.
- Proactively role model NAB’s values and behaviours as a functional leader across Communications and Corporate Affairs including supporting and encouraging team members.
