Audit Senior Manager - Data Science

  • Deliver data-driven assurance to enhance the depth and value of findings and observations to senior management.

In the role of Senior Audit Manager, you will join Internal Audit team that’s doubling down on winning together.

Each day you will go above and beyond to:

  • Lead the strategic use of data science across audit assignment delivery, continuous monitoring activity and the operational management of Audit.
  • Upskill and engage the Audit team, including senior management, on the value of data science and how to use it effectively to deliver assurance.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team on scope, approach, techniques used to deliver data science projects.
  • Form effective relationships with Audit stakeholders to understand the opportunities to deliver data led assurance.
  • Form effective relationships with technology and business stakeholders to enable delivery of data science projects.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and internal audit.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven data science skills in development, validation and deployment of products.
  • Skilled in working with a range of data sources including structured and unstructured, data extraction and manipulation in a complex enterprise environment
  • Highly experienced in Python, SQL, and Pyspark and experience working on Databricks and ML Flow.
  • Profound years of experience in data science functions, financial services, risk or audit based preferred.
  • Prior experience in source code management and code reviews.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar qualifications.
