In the role of a Senior Analyst, you will join our Fraud Prevention & Detection team that’s doubling down on protecting the community and our customers.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Improve engagement within our team, and grow our relationships with fraud operations teams and other stakeholders
- Improvement in prevention & detection strategies to meet and exceed our annual targets for loss, customer experience and detection performance
- Demonstrated leadership and involvement in initiatives that help reduce fraud and improve customer experience
- Identify and manage fraud risks
- Governance ownership and accountability for fraud risks, controls, models and audit items
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the health & safety policies procedures & legislation
- To conform with all relevant internal operating policies & procedures
- Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with bank standards, internal operating policies and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of fraud threats and shifts in trends within our business
- Contribution to the delivery of goals in-line with the Group Investigations and Fraud strategy.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience in a financial crime detection, credit risk, or data analytics role
- Experience with exploring the use of large amounts of data (structured & unstructured)
- Proven ability to build new capabilities and evolve existing capabilities
- Demonstrated strong communication and negotiation skills (written & verbal) and an ability to confidently express ideas, findings or concerns
- Demonstrated ability to influence change
- Demonstrated ability to produce emails and reports designed to inform and influence stakeholders
- Extensive understanding of data analytics, data modelling, data strategies and sound technical experience
- Proven experience in working with data to translate quantitative and qualitative information to achieve outcomes
- Proven exposure to database and application programming (including, but not limited to Quantexa, Power BI, SQL, Splunk, NDC/NDH, Python, R).
