About the Role
Work closely with the Clinical Placement Officers (CPO) to provide efficient and effective administrative tasks associated with running clinical placements for the disciplines are undertaken in accordance with School requirements and consistent with Faculty and University policy and procedure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting placement processes in consultation with CPOs, including actively monitoring and ensuring pre-placement compliance, facilitation of requests and offers for placement, and assistance with the allocation of students to placements
- Working with the Faculty Teaching and Learning Unit to facilitate all student placement agreements, including preparation of agreements using standard University templates, coordination of signatures, mail out of agreements and cover letters to relevant parties, and follow-up of outstanding agreements
- reliably following communications protocols and/or policies as appropriate
Who We Are Looking For
You have excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Your ability to work independently under routine supervision while effectively contributing to a team ensures smooth workflow and collaboration. Additionally, you demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, using existing policies and procedures as a guide to navigate challenges and make informed decisions.
You will also have:
- Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work experience or completion of a Certificate IV with relevant work experience or a combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
- High-level computer skills, particularly in relation to Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
