The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for a Plumber to join our team on Rottnest Island. Working in conjunction with other trades you will be responsible for the completion of maintenance across multiple facilities including desalination plants, waste water treatment plants, network reticulation and general residential plumbing, you will complete preventative maintenance, general reactive maintenance & performing gas checks around all sites. Specialist tools and a vehicle will be available as well as uniforms, footwear and PPE.

Remuneration ranges from $120k - $150k dependent on roster. 5:2 & 10:4 rosters available. On call allowance and travel allowances paid fortnightly. 

 

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate 3 in Plumbing
  • Experience on major commercial and industrial works
  • Current driver's license & white card
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
  • Execute work that is of a high standard
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems
  • Excavator ticket
  • Working and heights and confined space entry
  • Gas servicing
