The Project

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners, have been appointed as an Alliance to deliver the Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication projects, with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport located in Adelaide, South Australia.  This is known as the Fleurieu Connect Alliance.

Your Opportunity

As a Safety leader, you will be working closely with the wider Project Team to effectively drive continuous improvement in safety culture by assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, initiating performance improvements, and sharing best practices and lessons learned. This is your chance to join a Tier 1 construction contractor that is leading the way in Safety. ​

 Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Recent experience in a HSE Manager position within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience leading a team of HSE personnel
  • Ability to implement and oversee project and subcontractor HSE plans
  • Knowledge of OHS&E principles and regulations, Industrial Relations, and Workers Compensation Legislation
  • Ability to accurately record activities and ensure business process are adhered to
  • Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.
  • High level communication, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Solid relationship building skills
