Your Opportunity:

CPB contractors are currently recruiting experienced EEHA Electricians to join our APLNG project team. These roles are fulltime and based onsite on BIBO arrangement from Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off roster.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be working on the following:

• Gas gathering wellsites low voltage cable installation and termination of:
• Micro turbines & CD power units
• Telemetry systems, Wimax, LTE
• Wellhead Electrical Skids
• Wellhead instruments
• Compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards.
• Ensuring all required Wells site build quality documentation is completed on the Clients electronic construction and completions systems (CCMS) including, FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports and punch lists.

Our minimum requirements:

• EEHA Certification within the last 2 years for testing, visual, close and detailed inspection of HA equipment, rectification, installation and maintenance.
• QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue and CPR qualifications (essential)
• 5 years + post trade experience on a large-scale Oil & Gas.
• Current QLD Driver's license.
• An understanding and demonstrated commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification.

Applicants with the following will be highly regarded:

• High Voltage Cable, Transformer and RMU VLF testing
• High Voltage Switching Operator qualification (HVSO)
