What can our construction projects build for you?
The Baypark to Bayfair Link Upgrade Project is a 2-year NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) project located in Mount Maunganui, which adjoins the south eastern North Island city of Tauranga. The 1.7km Link Upgrade closes out the ongoing upgrade of State Highway 2, running through Mount Maunganui and Tauranga - a heavily trafficked transport corridor.
Through the specific project area, State Highway 2 is an urbanised thoroughfare between the recently completed 4 lane expressway known as the Tauranga Eastern Link and the existing expressway running to the north.
We seek two Leading Hands who will be reporting to and working closely with the Site Supervisor to be an additional support in assisting with day to day operations, tasks and keeping to challenging timetables.
One Leading hand will be working within the Civil’s section of the project and the other within structures / reinforced concrete work.
You will be required to easily organise a team of operators, labourers and sub-contractors on site. Giving them direction, guidance and tasks to enable safe and efficient work delivered to a quality standard.
As an experienced Leading Hand this project will give you an opportunity to earn a competitive rate and work with a Tier 1 contractor on a long-term project with potential for ongoing work. Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Class’s 1 to 4 & WTR
- Solid experience within civil construction projects
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude and the ability to work as a team
- Be reliable and flexible team player
- Demonstrated experience working on a site with high safety standards
