The Project:

The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to build the capability and capacity of TasWater to fulfil its customer promises for improved service levels by efficiently and effectively delivering an accelerated capital program of works. 
The TasWater CDO will deliver:

  • Opportunities for people to grow and develop
  • Economic benefits and growth opportunities for local industry
  • Improved safety outcomes
  • Capacity and capability to transition the program back to TasWater post-TasWater CDO
  • The necessary framework for emergent projects

Your Opportunity:

We are currently seeking applications from Supervisors with civil experience. As the Supervisor you will coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives on the project.

  • Give a personal commitment to & support a culture of “Safety & Health above all else”   
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the contract, specifications, EBA and SHEQ regulations
  • Coordinate & supervise on-site resources for the project
  • Ensure all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work
  • Monitor progress & compliance to company standards
  • Manage site security and general housekeeping including material supply and storage
  • Plan daily/weekly/monthly work schedules and trade coordination

Our minimum requirements for this role is:

  • Proven ability to effectively manage sub-contractors in a professional manner
  • Well-developed planning, leadership & communication skills
  • Water project experience is desirable

This role is based in Hobart, Tasmania. For those outside of Tasmania, relocation is required. An attractive relocation package will be made available to the successful applicants.
