CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnels and Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  The project also includes construction of four new high-capacity underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this role sits within the project team.  You will be responsible for the management and facilitation of all site-specific quality assurance requirements and providing day-to-day support to project team members to ensure that specified project quality requirements are met.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitor and coordinate closure of project delivery records and ensure completeness of records to Client requirements, including Lots and ITPs.
  • Work with Engineers to coordinate closure of NCR records.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining the requirements of the Project Quality Management System and systems for data, document and record management.
  • Assist project personnel in the preparation and coordination of project quality system documentation including preparation and review of documentation to/from subcontractors and suppliers.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar.
  • Quality Management experience on large construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related management systems.
  • Internal Auditor and/or Lead Auditor qualifications highly desirable.
