Systems Connect (an unincorporated Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and UGL Engineering) is delivering the Line-wide Works (LW Works) package of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMCSW) project, which will extend Sydney Metro Northwest to the CBD and beyond to Bankstown. SMCSW is being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.

About the Role

Systems Connect are looking for an experienced Interface Engineer to be responsible for managing Interface activities, complex design, construction & commissioning, activities for delivery of the LW works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the construction works at underground Metro stations
  • Monitor and drive compliance in accordance with engineering drawings and documents
  • Interact daily with client and contractors to achieve best for project outcomes in formal and informal forums
  • Report on project status and have ownership of issues and engage relevant resources for their resolution or escalation
  • Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes for coordinating the LW Works with other contractors
  • Keep accurate records in online information systems and work with internal and external stakeholders to produce required deliverables
  • Active participation in a high performing team with a key focus on continuous improvement

About You

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Project Management and Design Management practices Proven commercial acumen
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a supportive high-performing team
  • Ability to implement safe work systems & environmental controls.
  • Experience in building and maintaining excellent communication &relationships with a range of stakeholders
