The Project

NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and Downer, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver over $1.2 billion of works as part of METRONET.  

Across two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link), the Alliance will add 32 kilometres of track to Perth's rail network, 5 new stations and 3 station modifications as well as 14 kilometres of principal shared path.

Your Opportunity

This role will be based on the Yanchep Rail Extension. You will contribute to the success of the project by effectively managing and directing your team to deliver the project on time, within budget and to CPB’s high quality standards. This role is to commence immediately.

 Our minimum requirements for these roles are:

  • Degree qualification in engineering in Civil Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience delivering civil structural construction works valued at least between $10M and $50M
  • High level technical competency and detailed understanding of bridge construction techniques
  • A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment on site
  • Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environment compliance on site
  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost and risk.
  • Experience in subcontractor management and supervision
  • Leading, mentoring and development of a team of engineers
  • Interface with design management, construction delivery teams, client and external stakeholders
