Job Duties:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Digital Construction team and the project, managing technical capabilities and functional delivery of DE and Innovation scope of work as per contract requirements.
  • Supervise all BIM and innovation staff on the project and provide guidance and support to effectively implement DE, particularly supervising the drafting, compliance and submission of Digital Engineering Management plans and BIM Execution Plans
  • Lead DE team in R&D and drive other innovation related initiatives (Parametric design, Common Data Environments, BIM Delivery processes, Site Digitization, Sustainability, Automation, Data Collection) in conjunction with the corporate Digital Construction team
  • Liaise with the Survey team to align methods and deliverables to be compatible with Digital Engineering processes
  • Drive the continuous adoption of Digital Engineering related technologies on the project and lobby stakeholders, including clients, consultants and subcontractors to deliver according to the project and company direction.
  • Develop and manage client relationships and lead fellow Digital Engineering team members in early business engagement with clients and internal teams as to understand the client requirement and have better planning on the DE implementation
  • Oversee the implementation of DE standards and processes on the project
  • Establish an external network and leverage external resources including institutions, academia and specialist consultants in the DE space
  • Align the implementation of Digital Engineering to the needs and direction of the wider Leighton Asia, CIMIC Group and ACS Group
  • Support the use of Digital Engineering for site logistics and planning connecting DE systems to the on-site activities.
  • Drive the continuous adoption of Digital Engineering related technologies on the project and lobby stakeholders, including clients, consultants and subcontractors to deliver according to the project and company direction.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of working experience in the construction industry, preferably with a mixed background of consulting and contracting
  • Degree holder in Engineering or Architecture or related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in the use of key DE systems, and the ability to develop and support the integration of multiple digital systems across all functions
  • Ability to manage a project’s digital information across all functions
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and risk management skills
  • Ability to drive compliance and effective governance
