The role ensures electrical design deliverables are produced in accordance with the project brief, specifications, applicable standards, project programme and quality requirements, while coordinating effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other disciplines. The role is primarily design-office based; the Electrical Engineer supports site and commissioning teams with technical input when required, although this is not the primary objective of the position.
The ELV / ICT Engineer is responsible for the design, design coordination and integration of Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and associated smart building / security systems on assigned projects. The role ensures that multiple technology systems are fully coordinated with the building and MEP works, meet client and authority requirements and are designed as integrated, reliable and maintainable systems. The role is primarily design-office based; the ELV & ICT Engineer supports site and commissioning teams with technical input when required, although this is not the primary objective of the position.
