The Project

CPB Contractors has been selected by BHP Iron Ore to deliver the construction of bulk earthworks, concrete and underground services for the South Flank project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. Works are commencing immediately with estimated completion expected late 2020.

Your Opportunity

As a Formwork Construction Supervisor, you will be an important member of the concrete team. Your focus will be on the day to day management of formwork crews. This is a FIFO role working a 15/6 roster on South Flank MAC project with an immediate start. We have a strong pipeline of work and this is a permanent role with opportunities for career progression.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Formwork Supervisory experience in large volume structures for example, Crushers, Vaults and Car Dumpers
  • Formwork Supervisory experience conveyors, transfer stations, rail install, bolt & cast-in installation
  • Proven experience supervising and leading crews of concrete workers, and formwork carpenters.
  • Must be able to read reinforcement drawings
  • Must be able to manage multiple areas at a time
  • Ability to accurately report on production and progress of concrete team.
  • Absolute commitment to safety in everything you do.
  • Willingness to work on a 15 days on, 6 days off, Fly in Fly out roster.
