CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  CBGU JV will deliver the underground works of the project, including tunnelling, four new underground stations, an over-station development at Albert Street and an above ground retail plaza at Roma Street.

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the training Manager, the Training Administrator will sit within the project team. Your key focus in this role is to contribute to the success of the Training team’s performance through the provision of quality, efficient and effective Training administrative planning and support to Managers and the Wider Project Team

The key accountabilities for this role will be:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to the safety and health framework, policies and management system requirements and expectations;
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks;
  • Uploading competencies into Onsite Track Easy;
  • Capturing all of the companies to enable the gap analysis to be completed;
  • Scheduling of training to meet the gaps identified;
  • Rail Safety worker register and ensure aligned to Onsite Track Easy;
  • Administer HR/Training records including data entry into the applicable Training Systems, ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times;
  • Support the Senior HR Advisor with organising and tracking training for the project;
  • Ensure Attendance Register sheets are issued, completed and returned for every training session;
  • Maintain accurate records of Training for the project;
  • Assist the HR Team with the implementation of HR/Training initiatives as required;

Our Minimum requirements for this role are:

  • 1 or 2 years’ Administration of Training or Administration/HR Experience
  • Experience within the rail, transport, construction, mining & resources or engineering industries (project experience) preferable 
  • Knowledge of relevant statutes and legislation relevant to the area of work, e.g. environmental legislation, Fair Work Act, Agreements and relevant awards.
