CBGU JV brings together partners CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel & Stations package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail.  Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.  CBGU JV will deliver the underground works of the project, including tunnelling and four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Woolloongabba and Boggo Road.

Reporting to the Project-wide Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, this role will sit within the Support Services team.  You will support the execution of the Project communication strategy, to coordinate and deliver a range of effective communication outputs including internal leadership messages and cultural campaigns, project announcements, media events, community events and social media management.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide expertise in communications to professionally manage the timely development and delivery of accurate and high-quality Project information.
  • Manage the production of digital assets, the Project digital assets library, and track the approval of digital assets and their use.
  • Coordinate client response to all media enquiries and manage all requests for site tours, site events and member of parliament interactions and briefings.
  • Develop and manage a communication and media content schedule, including social media.
  • Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy and associated plans.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications or media.
  • Communications & media experience within a large corporative environment.
  • Effective leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for best practice and innovation.
