What can our construction projects build for you?

The Project

An Alliance of CPB Contractors, Bombardier Transportation and Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) will deliver the $1 billion Rail Systems Alliance package of works, one of three key Infrastructure Projects for the Melbourne Metro Tunnel. The Delivery includes the first roll-out of a high capacity signalling and communications system on an existing rail network anywhere in Australia.

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join us on the RSA Project in Melbourne. Reporting to the Design & PMO Manager in the Engineering Function. The technical writer will write, design, and publish various technical and non-technical documentation required by RSA (i.e. management system documents, reports). This position will be familiar with a variety of technical rail concepts, practices and procedures.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Tertiary qualification in Education, Writing or Documentation or equivalent
  • 5 years of work experience in a similar role
  • 3 years of work experience in the rail industry would be beneficial
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
