MYER is looking for a Junior eCommerce Planning Manager who will manage and execute the eCommerce financial planning processes for their aligned business unit. The key responsibility will be to develop and manage their eCommerce trade plan working to ensure that strategies are financially sound and in line with business objectives.
About the role:
- Assist in developing and managing eCommerce-specific budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring alignment with online sales goals, marketing efforts, and digital initiatives.
- Track and analyse key eCommerce metrics (e.g., sales, traffic, conversion rates, average order value) to assess performance and identify trends that can inform future strategies.
- Work closely with digital marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and online trade teams to ensure eCommerce strategies are financially aligned and operationally feasible.
- Responsible for the planning and analysis including in-season and post season analysis of their aligned TPC. Including performance and profitability and in season reporting and analysis for the business.
- Provide support for various eCommerce projects, offering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations for optimising digital sales, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement efforts.
- Assist in strategic planning for eCommerce growth for relevant area, providing data and financial insights that inform decisions on future strategies and digital initiatives.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders regarding financial performance, forecast adjustments, and any other key insights that may impact eCommerce strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders to align business objectives and drive results across teams.
- Support the transition of any new tools, processes, reporting, or strategies across the eCommerce department, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring smooth execution.
- Keep up to date with innovations in eCommerce technology, such as AI-driven personalisation, automation, and omnichannel retail.
About you:
- 2+ years’ experience in an eCommerce, retail, or digital planning role, with exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and sales demand planning.
- Proven experience in retail trade planning and strategy within eCommerce
- Experience with data analysis tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with digital marketing tools and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Flexible with ability to foresee potential future issues and pivot as required
- An understanding of current and emerging trends in the eCommerce and retail sectors.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business
