As the Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-impact projects that align with and support the company’s strategic priorities. You will play a key role in driving cross-functional collaboration, maintaining alignment with transformation goals, and ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including the Head of Risk, Safety and Wellbeing and members of the Executive Leadership team (ELT).
About the Opportunity:
- Oversee the delivery of strategic initiatives within assigned pillars, ensuring alignment with transformation objectives
- Regularly evaluate progress against goals and KPI’s, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with teams to synthesise challenges, prepare decision making options, and escalate critical issues as needed to the Head of Risk, Safety and Wellbeing.
- Create comprehensive progress updates and materials for monthly forums (eg. Transformation Management forum and project team.
- Lead the facilitation of key decision forums and ensure timely and well documented communication during each stage of the project.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in assigned pillars, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration
- Act as a bridge between the Transformation Management forum (ELT), delivery teams, fostering trust and transparency
- Prepare content for key strategic communications, including regular updates to the Head of Risk, Safety and Wellbeing, investors and updates to the ELT
- Partner with IT Project Manager, Head of Risk, Safety and Wellbeing and members across People and Culture.
- Establish effective change management practices for sustainable outcomes.
- Lead effective implementation strategies across the organisation and within the desired timeframe.
- Monitor, evaluate and share insights on change adoption and impact, implementing corrective actions when necessary
Your Background:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in project management or project coordination, preferably within a Retail or transformation context
- Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong bias to action
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication ad interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation
- Comfort with data, ability to quickly and effectively complete data analysis tasks, both regularly and on an ad hoc basis
- Experience using Portfolio project management tool
- Experience in managing the implementation and release of online platforms, including migration of data from legacy systems across large organisations is highly desirable
