The Myer Group is seeking an eCommerce Specialist (Digital Operations) to support the tactical delivery of our online channels, with a focus on driving sales, streamlining operational processes and contributing to the success of short-term projects. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the seamless execution of online initiatives that enhance both commercial performance and the overall customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early career experience in eCommerce or retail who is ready to take the next step in their journey and grow within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
About the role:
- Execute day‐to‐day eCommerce strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
- Assist in and act on trade and promotional plans in line with broader eCommerce strategies
- Adhere to operational processes that ensure a smooth customer experience
- Contribute to small‐scale projects that contribute to eCommerce platform's enhancements
- Monitor key performance indicators and generate reports for management review
- Analyse product performance and execute on predefined strategies that optimise sales
- Collaborate with marketing merchandise teams to achieve sales budgets
- Communicate with cross functional and external teams to achieve day‐to‐day execution of operational targets
- Ensure internal and supplier processes are kept up to date, participating in the improvement, adoption and iteration of process
- Respond to pricing and compliance issues across Myer Group sites promptly
About you:
- Previous experience in eCommerce or Merchandise role within the retail sector preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- A strong team player who is able to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams
- Customer driven with a strong service focus
- Ability to work within a fast‐paced environment
- Experience in eCommerce platforms, PIMs or search and merchandising tools
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite – particularly in Microsoft Excel
