In this role you will safely transport general and ugly freight to Linfox's customers across the Pilbara.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, your duties include:

    • Participating and committing to safety standards and COR requirements at all times
    • Operating double and triple road train configurations to safely deliver freight on time
    • Daily prestart checks on vehicles and equipment
    • Restraining loads using chains, ratchet chains and straps
    • Managing fatigue for each trip
    • Complying with the Linfox uncoupling trailers and tug test produces

You will need:

  • Experience in operating double and triple road train configurations
  • Proficiency in all aspects of truck operations from single trailer combination through to triple road trains
  • Experience of the Pilbara & WA regional area
  • Good understanding of load restraint using chains, ratchet chains and straps
  • High quality customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with or willingness to learn MT Data tablets within trucks
  • Effective reading and writing skills to accurately complete paperwork
  • Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation


  • Market leading rates of pay, including loaded hourly rates and kilometer rates
  • Great leadership and support from your operational team
  • Drive a Linfox double or triple road train, experience remote areas of the Pilbara
  • Safe, near new and well-maintained equipment
