What does the job look like?

Join the BevChain team as a Central Planning Scheduler, overseeing national scheduling operations in Victoria, New South Walse, and Queensland. Be a crucial part of our dynamic business located at a prominent customer site in Southbank. With an average fleet size of 120, we manage transport scheduling using SAP and RoutePlanner (Bestrane) software, excelling at the complex tasks of execution and review.

Operating from Sunday to Thursday 9am-5pm, this role involves managing the daily allocations and deliveries for a medium-sized fleet responsible for National deliveries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising customer TMS and route planning software for efficient scheduling
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily reporting
  • Achieving key target KPIs in relation to the daily planning
  • Data validation with some data analysis
  • Efficient load planning for optimal route transport operations
  • Building strong customer relationships and communicating any changes
  • Ensuring planning is consistent with COR and fatigue management

Are you the one?

We are looking for experienced transport professionals with relevant operations experience in a 3PL environment. Training and support will be provide. To be successful, you should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a similar role involving transport load planning, driver allocating, or fleet allocating
  • Procifient with Microsoft office suite with excel knowleffge  to advanced computer skills, with experience in TMS highly regarded
  • Strong geographical knowledge of QLD, NSW and VIC
  • Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
