What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal is currently seeking a HR Business Partner based in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will provide effective HR support to one of Linfox’s largest business units. In this role you will play a key role in delivering practical HR support to a wide range of stakeholders and you will be focused on building leadership capability, employee engagement and coaching for the Intermodal team. Key areas:

  • Support leaders across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, remuneration, onboarding, complaints and investigations, workforce planning and performance
  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team to build and implement HR solutions in line with the business strategy, including a key focus on diversity and inclusion
  • Provide strategic advice to your stakeholders to drive organisational initiatives and change
  • Partner with leaders to deliver talent management activities including succession, retention and development
  • In collaboration with leaders, manage employee engagement activities with your stakeholders, including culture initiatives, recognition programs, pulse checks and action planning as a result
  • Report on progress against actions plans and targets

Are you the one?

  • 5+ years working as a Senior HR Advisor or HRBP within the Transport Industry
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and deal with sensitive information
  • Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and take initiative to meet deadlines
  • Experience with Power BI & creating Dashboards, including the ability to analyse data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Work, PPT
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently meet deadlines and achieve high standards, with limited direct supervision
  • A degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Logistics or a relevant discipline
