What does the job look like?

Linfox Queensland Mining Service business is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join the team in Richlands. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring inbound and outbound linehaul & PUD operations run efficiently, in line with the Linfox and customer requirements. Key areas:

  • Participate and commit to Linfox safety standards and COR at all times
  • Oversee cross-dock operations ensuring freight is planned, sorted and safely loaded and manifested
  • Maintain accurate records management ensuring all freight movements are captures in TMS
  • First point of contact for Brisbane mining customers, their vendors & subcontractors
  • Continuous improvement initiatives to improve process and make work more efficient
  • Provide support to the broader Mining Services team as required

Are you the one?

As a tech savvy individual with a high attention to detail and excellent time management, you will have a strong commitment to drive safety and compliance across our business. Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a transport operations environment
  • A strong understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and mass management
  • Detailed knowledge of transportation and warehousing and/or receipting functions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using Excel and SAP will be highly regarded
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and pressures
