What does the job look like? 

Linfox is seeking highly motivated and experienced HC drivers to join the busy team in Bowen QLD. As part of this role, you will be required to operate automatic Volvo prime movers pulling various trailers.  The roles are Monday to Friday starting from 5:00am and finishing at 1:30pm, and a rotational weekend shift when necessary. Key Areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
• Complying with the Linfox coupling and uncoupling procedure.
• Daily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislation
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, managers and customers on a day-to-day basis
