What does the job look like?
Join our dynamic Fleet team at the Linfox Willawong Service Centre as a Service Advisor. Whether you’re an experienced Service Advisor or a qualified Diesel Mechanic, this is your chance to make a real impact in a role that keeps our fleet running smoothly and safely.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the repairs and maintenance of Linfox equipment meet fleet and company policies. Key areas:
- Scheduling fleet maintenance and repairs with external providers and the Linfox workshop.
- Prioritising repairs based on safety, operational needs, and urgency
- Raising of purchase orders for work being undertaken externally
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with Linfox operational sites and external service providers
- Providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including accurate and complete paperwork
Are you the one?
We’re looking for someone with a strong heavy vehicle/fleet maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in customer service. You can demonstrate:
- A mechanical trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (essential).
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of prime movers, trucks, trailers, and LNG equipment maintenance (advantageous).
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Excel and Word; SAP experience is highly regarded.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- The ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
