What does the job look like?

As a Project Manager at Linfox, you will support IT projects across our Transport, Warehouse, and Corporate Services teams. Your role involves managing project plans, budgets, risks, and issues to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll lead cross-functional teams and follow Linfox’s project methodology to guide projects from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes.

Other duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead project teams and collaborate with technology, customer, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Manage project plans, budgets, risks, and timelines to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Drive teams to meet project goals, maintaining quality and timeliness.
  • Follow Linfox’s Project Methodology and use tools like Microsoft Project Online to track progress.
  • Monitor project phases to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Take ownership of full project life cycles, balancing multiple initiatives at once.
  • Lead Steering Committees, ensuring all necessary documentation and reporting are completed.
  • Report on project progress, including success metrics, testing, and deployment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Are you the one?

We’re looking for someone with 2-5 years’ experience managing projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment—preferably in technology or cross-functional teams. Your leadership skills will help drive successful project outcomes, while you stay on top of risks, budgets, and schedules. Attention to detail and a proactive, solution-driven mindset are key, as is the ability to engage stakeholders and ensure projects align with business goals.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in MS Project Online, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • The ability to be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical.
  • A flexible approach, able to handle shifting priorities and changing demands.
