What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an experienced Reach Stacker operator with a strong focus on service delivery. This opportunity will will involve a blend of operating our Reach Stacker to move containers around the yard in safe manor as well as driving a HC vehicle to assist in delivering single container loads with a variety of freight from major customers. This is a casual position requiring the successful candidate to be available, Monday to Friday commencing between 3:30pm to 5:00pm with potential overtime. Key areas:

• Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region.
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior.
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Occasional reach stacker operation to transport containers around the Linfox yard
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed.
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures.
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus.

• 4+ years operating a Reach Stacker
• Current HC Licence and prior experience operating HC vehicles 
• Current High Risk work licence - RS (Reach stacker) and experience
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• A self-starter who displays flexibility with approach to tasks
• A strong desire to progress your career in logistic
