What does the job look like?

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of site operations on shift, ensuring resources are effectively utilised to meet operational demand and customer service requirements. The Shift Supervisor works closely with the Site Manager and team leaders to drive safety outcomes, productivity, and continuous operational improvement. Key areas:
  • Lead on-shift site operations to meet volume, service and productivity targets.
  • Manage labour and resource allocation in line with operational priorities and weekly plans.
  • Drive safety performance through hazard identification, risk control, incident reporting and audits.
  • Support and coach team members to maintain a safe, productive and respectful workplace.
  • Maintain payroll, timekeeping, training and competency records for site personnel.
  • Engage with customers and key stakeholders to resolve issues and support operational results.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced warehousing or transport leader who can effectively coordinate people and resources on shift while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service delivery and operational performance. You can demonstrate:
  • Previous supervisory experience within a warehousing or transport environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety and injury prevention.
  • Experience allocating labour and managing productivity against site targets.
  • Knowledge of warehousing systems and RF systems.
